Began in 2008, construction of brand new building to house up to 50 orphans, completed in June 2009 ; eight people from Des Moines, IA attended the grand opening of it. Building is 100% paid for. |
August 2009 |
First Annual, Night Under The African Stars. The event was very successful |
September 2009 |
We received 280,000 meals as donation from Meals from the Heartland. Cornerstone of Hope Orphanage donated the 280,000 meals to the Haiti Relief Program because at this time, they needed it most. We are happy to help. Meals from the Heartland organization help distributed all the 280,000 meals. |
October 2009 |
First two COH orphans adopted in the United States. |
November 2009 |
5 new orphans arrived at the orphanage. |
December 2009 |
Security Station need identified to protect the orphans and the building. |
February 2010 |
Security Station building completed to keep orphans safe. 100% paid for. |
November 2010 |
2nd Annual Night Under the African Stars Gala. |
May 2011 |
We purchased and shipped a Van and a Deep Freezer to the Orphanage |
June 2011 |
Court date for the adoption of baby Joseph |

3 new orphans arrived at the orphanage (Wisdom, Mercy & David) |
