Rev. Fr. Andrew Obinyan

Rev. Fr. Andrew hails from Ubiaja in Edo State, Nigeria and was born in the late 60's.  He attended St. Benedict's Primary School, Ubiaja.

He proceeded to St. John Bosco's College, Ubiaja, Edo State and St. Paul's Minor Seminary, Benin, Nigeria respectively, where he began to grow in awareness of the Catholic priesthood.

Consequently, he proceeded to the Major Seminary in October 1989. In the course of time, he obtained B.A. Philosophy from the University of Ibadan and B.TH from Pontifical Urban University, Rome. He also holds a Masters Degree in Pastoral Theology from the Catholic Institute of West Africa (CIWA).

He was ordained a deacon on April 19th, 1998 and ordained a priest on 18th October, 1998.

He has worked in several parishes in Nigeria, namely St. Vincent's Catholic Church, Auchi, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Benin City, St. Paul's Catholic Church, Benin City and currently at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Ugbowo, Benin City, Nigeria.
